OAL One Night: Crazy Hat Fundraiser

I submitted a drawing I made back in 2014 for this fundraiser by Ohio Art League which is going to take place on 11/15. Below is the poster for this event.

I have never attended a fundraiser like this by Art League, so I am kind of looking forward to this. Besides, my art will be featured in the live auction, so it'll be exciting!

Ohio Art League Fall Juried Exhibit

I entered this juried show for the first time in 10 years and got 2 drawings accepted. We had an opening reception at the Columbus Cultural Arts Center last night. It was a great turn out and great fun. I saw many faces I had not seen for years. One of my pieces Vanitas 18 won the 2nd place. Ohio Art League 2019 Fall Juried Show

I got 2 pieces (Vanitas 17 and Vanitas 18) accepted into Ohio Art League's 2019 Fall Juried Show. This year I have shown my works in more shows than any past years. So far total 16 shows and still counting. It is not cheap to get into so many shows, but I am hoping it is all worth it. Will see...

2nd painting at OAL

I just finished my 2nd painting from Ohio Art League Thursday night open figure painting sessions. I worked on this piece over the past 4 weeks and I am pretty happy with the result. I had fun working with my fellow artists this summer.

Ohio Art League figure painting sessions

Since I am on summer break, I am able to go to Ohio Art League's Thursday night figure painting sessions. Thanks to Nathaniel Underwood who runs this program, I have been enjoying the experience of working on a painting over a 3 ~ 4 weeks period without rushing. Here are the recent painting I finished and the one I am currently working on.
